Different types of alarm clocks
The ubiquitous alarm clock is believed to have been invented by the Greeks as early as 250 BC. At that time, rising water levels used to hit a mechanical bird which would then trigger a loud whistle. Almost all of these clocks have a ‘snooze’ feature which is very handy in case of people who love to snuggle back into the warmth of the bed after silencing the alarm!
Travel alarm clock: One of the most common kinds of alarm clocks is the travel alarm clock. If you are the jet setting kind who is forced to live out of a suitcase, then, it is only natural that your internal clock requires some help. Often, you could be crossing timelines and jet lag is a very real thing. In such cases, a travel alarm clock can be a life saver. The travel alarm clock is generally lightweight as it is meant to be highly portable. For that matter, the majority of alarm clocks are compact and lightweight. The travel alarm clock may also feature time and date in different formats. It may allow the user to maintain two different times and provide other features that are helpful at the time of travelling.
