Can someone tell me about my timepiece?
When I was just a boy, I was given an antique pocket watch that belonged to my mothers grandfather who died in 1901. I did what little research that was possible and judging from the serial number and brand name, it’s an American Waltham made sometime in 1866. Serial number 232007 and it also says FAHY Conqueror No. 2. It was kept in excellent condition and shit shines bright I was hoping for any information you might have about the watch or it’s value. Im looking to sell so if you might know of a good place to start it would be much appreciated. Stunning craftsmanship. See for yourself.

The serial number you gave must be off the case. That number corresponds to an 1857 model, which this clearly is not.
The serial number on the watch is 4128891. This is a 7 jewel model 1883 movement from about 1890. It appears to have some parts swapped-notably the mainspring barrel. The value of the movement is minimal.
The box hinge hunting case has some value in and of itself, although the substantial wear-through to the base metal will detract from this.
I think that this might be a $100-150 watch on a good day.
