These Propel Gyropter RC helicopters range in size but are roughly one pound in weight and 8″ x 8″ x 8″ in size. If you order it online the package will weigh around 5 pounds. The review s on these RC helicopters has been mostly positive, largely due to the price of the Gyropter. They range from $29.99 to $69.99.

These RC helicopters really do not get enough attentions. Their price is so inexpensive (compared to other RC helicopters) but not built cheap. The Gyropter is built better than most of my higher priced RC Helicopters I’ve purchased in the past. To top it off they are easy to fly, its almost funny. My autistic 8 year old son figured it out as soon as I handed him the controls.

There are plenty of mods (modifications) available online but the easiest one to help it move forward is securing a small paperclip to the front. I bought a third one this Christmas so each my boys can all fly together.

I highly recommend the Propel RC Gyropter 3.5 Channel remote control helicopter to anyone as it makes a great gift for a teenager (13-14-15-16-17-18 year olds) or anyone interested in flying. They last a long time even in the hands of autistic children.
