Why didnt the United States use atomic weapons during the Korean War from 1950-1953?
If they were losing the war and they had this weapon in their back pocket, why didnt they use it? were they just afraid of USSR and China?

MacArthur wanted to. He also wanted to invade China, but Truman overrode him on both counts. Fortunately, sanity prevailed, as Truman realized that since both the USSR and China were supporting North Korea, either action would have been extremely shortsighted, with dire consequences for all parties.
