To the oldheads what kind of Railroad grade watch did you buy when you started with the railroad?
I started 5 years ago but have been collecting 992′s 992b’s waltham elgin ect ect. For the last year
I carried a 992B Railway Special for a couple of years before i decided it was too nice of a watch to risk beating around on the railroad.I bought a Seiko railroad approved watch to replace it.I collect pocket watches now also(especially Hamilton’s).My wife doesn’t understand why i need so many of them but that’s ok ..i know why lol.
